New Hides

The new hides have been constructed or finshed this week. You find them also on our hides` map (a Google Map). The harsh winter and finally the intense rain falls have delayed the construction work. Here are the first pictures. Check them out! Good Birding!
Die neuen Beobachtungseinrichtungen sind errichtet bzw kurz vor Abschluß. Sie können diese auch auf unserer (Google Map) finden. Der lange Winter und zuletzt der intensive Regen haben die Errichtung deutlich verzögert. Hier die ersten Bilder.

Please, don`t forget to reserve your accommodation in time. This will be necessary to take part in the evening events and gatherings to take place in Illmitz. Together with our partners we organize and actively support events and meetings for nature photographers, birders & Club 300 of AT, HU and SK, Birding & Business – Birding Industry (XING). Just contact us to suggest more activities and help to organize them.
Those with a accommodation in the region will take advantage by usage of their Neusiedlersee card. This card includes many offers to tourists, including national park tours and many reductions. Please do not forget to reserve your accommodation or lodging now in the village of Illmitz, where the Bird Experience takes place.

New Hides

Construction of two new and one completely renewed hide (Illmitzer Pferdekoppel at the edge of reed belt of Lake Neusiedl!) is approved. Next week it will be authorized by the board of the national park. So costruction work will start as soon as possible and just right in time for The Pannonian Bird Experience 2010. Details and more information will follow. Keep yourself updated – Stay tuned!

Friday, 18 September 2009 a kick-off event takes place in Kőszeg, Aradi vértanúk parkja for the new PaNaNet project. PaNaNet (PannonianNatureNetwork) is a unique cross border network of Hungarian and Austrian national parks and nature reserves of the Pannonian region. Alois Lang will present the Pannonian Bird Experience 2010 during this event.
PaNaNet will be present at the Pannonian Bird Experience 2010. PaNaNet offers the possibility to discover the protected areas and diverse landscapes of the region in special tours and excursions during the fair.
